Comic: The special relationship

The Beeb in Tucson

The BBC, a.k.a. "The Beeb", has a news team in town, undertaking what the company calls "an immersive journalism experiment," with "the aim of giving a voice to diverse communities across the U.S., reflecting different perspectives and taking these stories to a global audience."

BBC News is a division of the British Broadcasting Corporation, and maintains 45 news bureaux around the world, as well as BBC Pop Up, its first mobile news bureau.

None of the team has been spotted wearing bowler hats around town. They have, however, been having trouble with the spelling of "Tucson".

Roberto De Vido writes cartoons and comics about politics, sports (and life) from a small fishing and farming village an hour southwest of Tokyo.
