Final broadcast: John C. Scott signs off

The last edition of the John C. Scott Show was broadcast on radio Friday, featuring news commentary and kudos to John by Inside Tucson Business Editor Mark Evans, commentator Jimmy Zuma and TucsonSentinel.com's Dylan Smith, thanks from charity organizer Jesse Lugo, and a word from City Hall commentator Richard Studwell.

Callers who thanked John for his years on the air included Pima County Supervisor Ray Carroll, former assistant city manager Byron Howard, former Republican mayoral candidate Rick Grinnell, longtime broadcaster Bill Buckmaster and talk show host Joe Higgins.

The John C. Scott Show airs Monday-Friday, 3-5 p.m. on KVOI 1030 AM. The opinions expressed on the John C. Scott Show are those of the host and guests. TucsonSentinel.com posts show archives as a public service, because of the number of local newsmakers interviewed on the program.
