J.C. Scott: Focusing on Southern Az's film industry

On Tuesday's edition:

06 min: We started the show the new executive director of the Arizona Clean Elections Commission, Thomas Collins, who introduced himself to our listeners and updated the commission's effort to block an increase in Arizona campaign contributions.

34 min: Next up was a profile of the film industry in Southern Arizona with Tucson Film Office Director Shelli Hall. Hall talked about an increase in local economic impact from film, commercial and television production this year. We were then joined by actor and producer Jeffery Patterson and director Matthew Gratzner who promoted the premiere of "Hot Bath an' a Stiff Drink" (filmed completely in Southern Arizona) Thursday night at the Fox Theatre.

65 min: We then spoke with Nicole Fyffe, executive assistant to Pima County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry, who thanked listeners for participating in the Pima County bond survey. The poll received more of 17,000 votes. 144 projects will go before the Pima County Bond Advisory Committee, whose recommendations will then go to the Pima County Board of Supervisors for approval.

89 min: We finished the show with developer and City Hall commentator Richard Studwell, who gave his take on the challenge to the Tucson pension initiative,
