I don’t always agree with the guy either…but I don’t need to. I can respect someone I disagree with if they argue based on facts rather than argue based on the person they’re arguing again. I also need them to refrain from lying. Seeing things differently is one thing, but deliberately smearing an issue to serve your ends is totally another. My point…though I don’t agree with everything Scott has said, he’s always stated his opinions is ways I can respect.

Buckmaster on the other hand…way too soft. Doesn’t ask the tough questions. Doesn’t say what needs to be said. Doesn’t call anyone out on anything. He’ll get Braindead Bob on his show and let Bob mumble and drool for 15 minutes, all the while trying his best not to offend Bob. It’s sickening to try to listen to.

In many ways he reminds me of San Diego Congressman Bob Filner who I knew well in the 90’s and we were always able to communicate even inside political jabs with respect and with great fun - not with hostility. Filner - an avowed liberal is currently running for San Diego Mayor and I am actually endorsing him. These are the kind of people we can rarely find - John Scott or Bob Filner or even John Sullivan who will never agree with any of the others on whether Socialist Utopia governing from the top down of a Politiburo-style center or Republican Federalism governing America from the household first, the neighborhood next, the City next, the County next the State next and at last resort the Feds and the U.N. should steer America’s future. But yeah I recognized from Day One that John C Scott is an American gem. All of the grandoise plugs at the beginning of his show are perhaps a bit understated.

Yeah, I like his show, too. Scott has a way of telling it like it is and turning up the heat where necessary without being an asshole about it.

Sorry, we missed your input...
