Free 'Bodies' for teachers on Tuesdays

Beginning today, teachers will be offered free admission on Tuesdays to "Bodies...The Exhibition."

The "Teacher Tuesdays" promotion will afford educators "an up-close look inside the skeletal, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, circulatory and other systems of the human body," the exhibit said in a news release.

Teachers will be asked to show a school or district identification card for admission. Additional guests may purchase tickets at the onsite box office, via www.bodiestucson.com or by phone at 888-263-4379.

Downloadable teachers’ guides correlated to Arizona academic standards are available. The guides are divided into educational levels from kindergarten up to post-secondary, and feature activity and resource ideas. Teachers can register to receive a guide for their grade level at http://education.prxi.com/tgrequest.

The exhibit is on display at the Rialto Building, 300 E. Congress St. It is open daily.


  • Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Friday  & Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Adult tickets are $22, students and seniors $18, children $14. Group discounts are offered.
