Brewer PAC's biggest expense: buying her book

The biggest expense reported by Jan PAC, Gov. Brewer's political action committee, is the purchase of copies of the governor's book, financial reports show.

While the Republican governor vowed to use funds to fight illegal immigration, her PAC's largest outlay last year was to Amazon.com for copies of "Scorpions for Breakfast," former Arizona journalist Nick Martin reported for TPM on Thursday.

Financial reports through the end of December show that out of about $22,000 raised, more than $3,400 went for copies of Brewer's book. $624 was spent at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, and $513 went to Southwest Airlines. The rest remained in the bank, Martin reported.

Well, she did fly Southwest…which is amongst the worst in the industry. If you’re anything taller than about 4 foot 10 it’s impossible to get comfortable on one of their planes.

Sorry, we missed your input...
