51% is a pure and total lie. This must be another DAILYKOS BS poll.

Anyone who isn’t progressive/illegal Latino or radical progressive I KNOW is for SB 1070. EVERYONE!

I’d say this number is more like 70% in real life.

This is more of the main stream media trying to push progressive communism on the USA and lying to the public.

And let’s add, according to a poll, 80% of those who support SB1070 also support a comprehensive immigration reform law which includes a path to citizenship. It’s an important addition. It means people are fed up with inaction and will take any action over nothing at all. It doesn’t mean people want to round ‘em up and ship ‘em home.

Here’s something I wrote about it on Blog for Arizona (El Blog)

@Roberto De Vido@Roberto De Vido

Nope. Vast amount of online research, an average of various polls I have seen. Realclearpolitics is a good nexus for polling data. You can laugh all you want Roberto, but middle America is sick of the drugs, sick of crime and sick of paying all the bills while you spit on us. We are done. And if you think it 49/51%, well, unless you are good at rigging polls wait until November.

The crucial thing we should consider while fighting against illegal immigration is the illegal labor. People pass the border illegally because they are guaranteed to get a job here!!! So first of all entrepreneurs should stop taking illegal employees, using cheap labor and increasing their profits. And the situation will change drastically!!! What will illegals come for if they know that there is no job here for them!

Quinnipiac University Polling Institute
Is on the side of FOX NEWS.
Just 1900+ voters.

Known for its exactness and thoroughness, the Quinnipiac poll was selected a “winner” by the New York Post for the most accurate prediction on the Schumer-D’Amato Senate race in 1998, and results are featured regularly in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and on national network news broadcasts.

Two papers who are owned by Murdock
These GOP fools wont stop till they TRY to get there hands on the 14# amendment.
The big idea is lets smoke up the issues so we don’t see how the Bush years have taken a toll on all of us!
Just look at the BP oil “leak” ALL GOP DOING

@TUCSONSAM

Yeah, its all Bush’s fault, 500 days in, it still is. Really, ? Really, thats all you got.

Obama’s average spending is 3 times per day than Bush. That’s about 3 trillion in 500 days. And you communist rat vermin progressives were all over bush on the spending.

14th Amendment is EQUAL PROTECTION OF LAWS, and various other things. You know nothing of the Constitution.

So Tucson sam, die of cancer and youll get a nice Obamacare hospital bed and no treatment and you can die in the commie state hospital next to a fence hopper that drained our nation and our schools and our hopitals.

Tucson sam, communist rat vermin progressive traitor to both God, the constitution and Country.

@TUCSONSAM

Tucson Sam. Let me correct you since you seem quasi-literate. I believe you mean troll not TROOL.

You also managed to spell the nickname wrong despite the reply function here automatically populating the reply-to header.

As usual from the progressive left the ad-hominem is the primary tool used in debate simply because facts are not able to be used to support any of the bogus balderdash progressives eructate. The fact is the progressives in office are accelerating the bankrupting of America with a Cloward Piven strategy. Form the ashes of the state they are attempting to fail they believe they will construct a progressive Statist authoritarian regime that serves the oligarchical collectivist masters.

The identity politics which you are interested in is a distraction. That is how ignorant and ill informed you (Tucson Sam) are. The oligarchs in charge bait you with side of the street identity politics and you lap it up, and you want to spend more on entitlements when the country is well over 20 trillion in the hole, and your glorious progressive master triples average daily spending (so far) compared to Bush.

When your allies have robbed us of freedom, liberty and our constitution you will have to live with yourself, and when the end comes, you will be judged harshly for disobeying God, disobeying natural laws and subverting our enumerated rights.

Sorry, we missed your input...

User Guidelines

Please be respectful and relevant. Thought-provoking. Or at least funny.

We want comments to advance the discussion and we need your help. Debate, disagree, yell (digitally) or laugh, but do it with respect.

We won't censor your comments if we don't agree with you; we want viewpoints from across the political spectrum. We're dedicated to sparking an open, active discussion. We believe people with differing opinions can spark debate and effect change.

Comments are open to registered users of TucsonSentinel.com.

Keep in mind:

  • A conversation involves sharing and respect. Support your viewpoint with facts, not attacks.
  • Ask questions. Search out answers.
  • Remember that being part of a community requires tolerance for differing views.
  • We can't ensure that all comments are based in truth. The only comments we endorse are those we write ourselves.

TucsonSentinel.com does not allow:

  • Hate speech. Blatantly racist, sexist or homophobic slurs or calls for violence against a particular type of person, etc. will be removed.
  • Obscenity & excessive cursing. Sometimes a well-placed curse word - if you're creative enough to get it past our auto-censor - can express your point in just the right way. But we say '%*$& no' to cursing for cursing's sake. And lose the explicit sexually-descriptive language. It doesn't contribute to the debate and there are plenty of other places on the Internet to find it.
  • Flaming. During a heated discussion, unkind words may be spoken. We can live with a certain amount of rudeness in the name of provocative conversation, but a pattern of personal attacks (name-calling, mocking, or baiting) is not acceptable nor are threatening or harassing comments. Show some respect, please.
  • Spam. Solicitation of products or services isn't allowed; contact us about advertising, we'd love to talk to you. Links to off-topic sites may be deleted.
  • Copyright or IP infringement. Lengthy quotes and violations of 'Fair Use' aren't allowed. Anything you post should be your own work.
  • Overposting. Don't bore people and waste electrons with identical comments on multiple stories or repetitive comments that don't advance a conversation.
  • Trolling, sockpuppetry, and other abusive behavior. Please don't feed the trolls and don't pretend to be someone you're not.
  • Gossip. Don't bring up others who can't defend themselves. We don't give out personal information; you shouldn't either.

Comments that violate these guidelines may be removed. We reserve the right to make up the rules as we go along.

Flagging

Commentors are solely responsible for the opinions they express and the accuracy of the information they provide. Users who violate these standards may lose their privileges on TucsonSentinel.com.

Sentinel editors can't read every comment. Trolls, spammers and other troublemakers can slide under the bridge. We rely on you to help maintain a healthy conversation - more than likely, you're reading these comments before the editors.

What if you see something inappropriate? Use the 'Flag' button to send it to a moderation queue. Help us out and tell us why you're reporting it; please don't report someone just because you disagree with them. Boy who cried wolf and all that. We'll take appropriate action on violations.

We will not edit comments to alter their meaning or censor comments because of political content.

We will not remove comments solely because they are heartless, cruel, coarse, foolish or just plain wrong. Your disapproval can maintain a decent signal to noise ratio. Ultimately, however, self-policing is the best method.

Bottom line, don't be a jerk.
