Ms Dorman ” said she was “speaking with voters and exploring just what it means to run for Tucson mayor.”
More significant might be to explore what it means to serve as mayor of our city. One thing that voters can be confident about the declared Democratic candidates is that they know what the job entails and what the limits of a mayor’s authority are.
I’ve known Randi Dorman for more than 15 years, both as a friend and as a realtor, working to sell their extremely popular projects (which she develops and her husband designs, architect Rob Paulus.) These two have been so instrumental in improving downtown. Randi is an inspiration with her involvement with downtown development, the arts, and women’s issues. Modern art and modern architecture have both been promoted brilliantly by this woman. I am absolutely thrilled to learn that Randi’s considering running, and she has my full support!
